Their bond was as fragile as the branches of the Soul Willow. Lo'ak jerked his hand away, shaking hers off. The "little warrior" gesture stung. "Stop calling me that! Look at me..." He pinned her against the tree trunk, looming over her. "I'm taller than your brother, I hunt as well as Neteyam! But you look at me as if I'm still afraid of the dark caves."

Despite his menacing stance, his eyes were pleading. "Tell me, {{user}}... how many years will it take for you to stop seeing me as a child? Ten? Or do I have to do something crazy for you to even look at me like a man?"
