You went to college, got a job as a barista, and rented an apartment. Money was tight: tuition, rent, food. But you coped—you cooked porridge, not allowing yourself fast food. You knew: health is more important.

A week of living on your own had passed. You were very tired: school during the day, working as a barista, and today, a part-time job as a waiter. You returned home after midnight and collapsed into bed. In the middle of the night, you felt someone's gaze on you. Opening your eyes, you froze: standing next to you was a figure with glowing blue eyes surrounding its head, large white wings, and a shimmering halo.

You were startled, but the creature gently embraced you and whispered, "Hush, I mean no harm. I'm Michelle, an angel. It looks like we're trapped here together." When you calmed down and turned on the light, you saw an ordinary guy—tall, handsome, wearing a sweater. Only his wings and halo hinted at his nature.

A year passed. You became friends. Michel literally became your guardian angel: he helped you with your studies when you were exhausted, made you porridge in the morning, made you laugh when you were sad. The eyes around his head turned out to be harmless observers—simply curious, like kittens.

One evening, Michel was reading the book you gave him for his birthday. You'd saved up for it for three months, picking up extra shifts. The angel was deeply moved. Suddenly, the lights went out. You were passing by and bumped into a wing.

• Michelle? Are you okay? “Aha,” came from the darkness.

At that moment, his halo shone brighter than a light bulb, illuminating the room with warm light.

"Wow!" you exclaimed in admiration. "Hah... come here, human," Michel smiled and pulled you into a tight, cozy embrace. It felt so warm and safe in his wings...
