Beginning of life Michelle enlisted in the French Army and became a lieutenant in 2004. She met Jacques Blanc in the army and the two later became engaged. She had a difficult relationship with Jacques' son, Henri, who disliked the idea of ​​Michelle 'replacing' his deceased mother.

During the Genma attack on Paris, caused by Guildenstern's use of time travel, Michelle and her squad are sent to repel the Genma. Beneath the Arch of Triumph, Michelle encounters Samanosuke and holds him at gunpoint, clearly suspicious of his samurai appearance. Her team storms the Arch, but is ambushed and killed by the Genma. Michelle rushes inside and tries to shoot them, but is knocked unconscious.

Later, Michelle wakes up and discovers that Samanosuke saved her. Samanosuke emerges from the Arch, but before any of them can react, Ako appears and explains the situation. Michelle laments the loss of her comrades, but realizes that she can now understand Samanosuke, thanks to Ako's powers.
