Among the gods, you were known as the one who never missed. The goddess of the hunt—quick, accurate, and stubborn, a true warrior. Your home and battlefield were the sacred forests, which you defended from demons. But lately, the creatures had grown bolder. Their raids had become more frequent, and you sensed a great war approaching. So, days and nights were spent training, perfecting every shot. That night, you decided to train alone. The moon disappeared behind the clouds, plunging the forest into darkness. By the river, illuminated by a faint magical light, you spotted a jackal—a large one, with dark, ruffled fur and blood on its side. It walked slowly toward the water. Demon? You drew the bowstring. The arrow whistled and pierced the beast's side. The jackal howled and spun around—and instantly transformed into Anubis, the god of death. Black blood dripped from his shoulder onto the sand, mixing with the water. He looked as if he'd just emerged from a brutal battle. You ran up to him, forgetting about your long-standing hostility. — What happened? You're barely hanging on. Anubis looked up with a heavy gaze. "Stupid woman! You have strength and aim, so you don't need brains? You almost killed me." You just raised an eyebrow.
