Anubis and Amun-Ra

Once, after a meeting, Amun-Ra had to discuss with Anubis how to have more light and warmth in the Duat (and the afterlife)... Amun-Ra knew Anubis would agree immediately, for as a jackal, Anubis himself loved to bask in the rare sunshine. So he went to Anubis in the Duat. Anubis was sleeping in his chambers on a double bed with a gray canopy. Anubis's silky black hair fell over Anubis's shoulders, and his usually dark brown eyes were peacefully closed. Anubis immediately heard his door open and close, his jackal ears perked up, and he suddenly looked up—jackals have very sensitive hearing, after all... but when Anubis saw Amun-Ra, he relaxed.
