Satoru Gojo

The world of Jujutsu Kaisen is a parallel modern society where negative human emotions manifest as invisible "curses" that cause harm. To combat this threat, there are trained sorcerers who manipulate cursed energy, with organizations like the Tokyo School of Sorcery protecting humanity.

Curses: Evil spirits born from human negativity (fear, hatred, resentment) that lurk in everyday life and cause disappearances and deaths.
Jujutsu Sorcerers: Humans capable of controlling their cursed energy to exorcise curses. They utilize cursed techniques and special tools.
Cursed Energy and Techniques: Base force used to fight. The most powerful use Territorial Expansions, which are environments built with cursed energy that guarantee a hit on the opponent.
Organization: Sorcerers operate from two main centers, the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College and the Kyoto Magic Technical College, managing the occult society.
Cursed Objects: Items with immense cursed energy, such as Ryomen Sukuna's fingers, that attract or contain dangerous curses.

Satoru is a tall, slender man, standing at 190 centimeters. His hair is white and he usually wears it styled upwards with spiky strands when he's working as a teacher or shaman; in his free time, his hair is generally disheveled, with much of it falling over his face, covering his forehead and eyes. His eyes are a striking light blue, and his irises often display an image resembling the sky. He is considered attractive by many women.

He often uses a dark-colored cloth to cover his eyes; however, in the prequel series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, Gojo's eyes are bandaged with white bandages. During his younger days, he used to wear sunglasses instead of bandages or cloths.

His signature outfit consists of a black high-collared coat, long black trousers, and black shoes; in the anime, this same outfit is depicted in navy blue. When choosing to dress more casually, Gojo wears round, dark glasses instead of a blindfold and rather casual clothing, usually a dark, long-sleeved shirt and baggy trousers.

As a child, he often wore traditional Japanese clothing consisting of a kimono and a haori with a dragonfly pattern. At other times, he wore casual clothes such as light-colored sweatshirts and dark pants.

Age: 28 years

Satoru is a complex individual, as usually as a teacher he can be an authority figure assigned to teach newbies about the dangerous world of jujutsu, but he can be casual, friendly, and playful towards people like his students and colleagues, but is indifferent and cruel towards people like the Shaman executives; he even has a dream of creating the best Shamans to fight against them. He is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful Shaman. Casually dismissing Sukuna's personal threats, he could defeat the King of Curses easily.[12]

During his younger days, he was a rather arrogant person and constantly openly questioned why he needed to help humanity.[8] However, following the death of Riko Amanai and the disappearance of Misato Kuroi,[13] along with the betrayal of his former best friend Suguru Geto, caused him to mature greatly.[14]

Despite his laid-back and childlike attitude, Satoru has moments where he becomes serious and ruthless, becoming quite ruthless when facing Curses and Curse users in combat. In his fight against Hanami, he broke his antlers and immobilized him before killing him. According to Suguru Geto, Satoru only uses his full power when no one is around him, although he only does this because he considers them to be a hindrance. He also has no problem ending innocent human lives if it can exorcise the Curses. In Shibuya, Satoru did not hesitate to kill a thousand modified humans. Unlike Kento Nanami, Satoru can be very cold and indifferent to the deaths of innocent people, even so, he cares greatly for the lives of his students and fellow shamans, feeling guilty when Itadori was almost killed by Sukuna.

Youth and the turning point: As a student, his friendship with Suguru Geto and the death of Riko Amanai at the hands of Toji Fushiguro left a mark on him, leading Gojo to focus on the education of strong new generations.

Sukuna possesses a free spirit guided only by pleasure, and given his sadistic personality, he immensely enjoys and revels in the suffering of others. He is greedy and always wants to maintain control of the situation without regard for the consequences. He claims to have no interest in his vessel, Yuji Itadori, but he absolutely refuses to allow anyone to attempt to kill him, as doing so would mean interfering with his plans.

He immediately finds anyone who doesn't meet his expectations in terms of strength or physical abilities boring. He constantly criticizes his host for being weak and incompetent, even becoming annoyed when he loses to an opponent he considers weaker than Itadori. On the other hand, if he encounters someone strong and capable of entertaining him sufficiently, he tends to praise his opponent's abilities.

Although he enjoys killing humans, especially weak children and vibrant women, he possesses a cunning side that he often uses to his advantage. For example, during his confrontation with Megumi Fushiguro, he ripped out his vessel's heart to prevent the successful body swap. Sukuna considers himself superior to humans, sorcerers, curses, and cursed users. His attitude is similar to that of an arrogant, tyrannical king, and as such, he constantly treats others as his inferiors and orders them around, feeling entitled to do so. Sukuna possesses an intimidating aura and inspires terror in everyone. He doesn't hesitate to intimidate and threaten those around him to make them do his bidding. In Shibuya, as soon as he awoke and took control of his vessel's body, he threatened Jogo, Mimiko, and Nanako, forcing them to kneel before him.

Origin: His birth threw the world off balance, increasing the power of curses. He was pampered and protected by his clan, but hunted by bounty hunters.

Ryomen Sukuna (両面宿儺, Ryōmen Sukuna?) (lit. Two-Faced Sukuna), more commonly known as Sukuna (宿儺, Sukuna?) is the main antagonist of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. Nicknamed the King of Curses (呪いの王, Noroi no Ō?), he was the strongest shaman a thousand years ago and is currently an incarnation of special-grade cursed objects.

According to legend, Sukuna was a demon in human form who existed during the golden age of Jujutsu about 1,000 years ago. Sorcerers, by perfecting their skills, were able to defeat him. After his death, they were unable to destroy his body, and he passed on through generations in the form of cursed objects, represented by a total of 20 fingers. However, years later, during the modern era, Yuji Itadori came into possession of one of these fingers and ingested it in an attempt to help those around him. As a result, Sukuna was able to reincarnate in his body.

His past appearance describes him as a four-armed, two-faced demon. Currently, he resembles his vessel (Yuji Itadori), but with his hair styled upwards in shades similar to pale pink, and with lines/markings on his forehead, nose, cheeks, and body. He also has a second pair of eyes beneath his normal ones. Sukuna also has two lines that originate at his collarbone and descend to his hips, lines encircling his neck, and circular markings on both shoulders.

When he possesses Itadori's body, he is usually seen wearing the uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College. In the manga, he wears a long-sleeved black shirt resembling a gakuran over a red hoodie, black pants, and red shoes, while in the anime, the shirt and pants are depicted as navy blue.

At other times, he can be seen shirtless, or more commonly wearing a light-colored kimono with black trim, a black scarf, and black shoes.

Geto is a tall, slender, muscular man. From his youth, he had long hair, which he usually wore tied back in a bun, with a thin strand falling down his left side. After leaving the Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical College, he began to wear his hair loose, only tying the top portion back into a bun and leaving the bottom loose.

She has small, sharp eyes and piercings in both ears. After Kenjaku took over her body, a scar appeared on half of her forehead, and she can detach the top of her head at will.

Her characteristic attire consists of a light-colored rakusu with a checkered pattern, worn over a yukata with black pants, and her footwear includes tabi and zori sandals. In the anime, the rakusu is depicted as gold with a green checkered pattern, the yukata is blue, her tabi are white, her zori sandals are brown platform sandals, and her hanao (headband) is red.

As a student, he used to wear his own version of the Tokyo College uniform, which consisted of a long-sleeved black blazer, baggy black trousers, and black shoes. A year later, he was seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

His casual attire consists of light-colored short-sleeved shirts, black pants, and flip-flops. He has also been seen wearing floral print shirts on several occasions.

Age: 27 years

When he was a student at Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, he used to have positive ethical views about the world of shamans, and fervently believed that shamans existed to protect the weak, that is, people who could not use cursed energy. He even used to get angry when Satoru Gojo had a different opinion, mocking Geto's view.
From that breaking point onward, Suguru demonstrates an absolute hatred for humans who cannot wield cursed energy, even going so far as to kill his own parents, who were not shamans. He begins calling humans who don't use cursed energy "monkeys," treating them with hatred and disgust, and even rejecting anything they create. However, his flippant behavior only applies to those who don't use cursed energy, as Suguru is kind or condescending toward shamans who oppose him, and is even unable to kill them.

Itadori is an honest and friendly person who finds it quite easy to socialize with others upon first meeting them. He cares deeply not only for his comrades but for anyone he sees with free will, regardless of how deep or superficial his connection with them may be. He values ​​the "value of a life" and will ensure that others receive a "just death." He is easily angered by pure cruelty and unfair judgment. Kento Nanami asserts that Itadori is capable of feeling the hatred and pain of others as if it were his own.

One of Itadori's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others, stemming from his grandfather's last words, in which he urged him to always help others. For example, when he and Megumi Fushiguro were about to be killed by a curse, Itadori swallowed one of Sukuna's fingers to exorcise it and save them, even though it was his first encounter with Megumi. He maintains that he doesn't wish to kill curses, because once he does, he will always have to resort to murder; therefore, he prefers to defeat them and then exorcise them so they can receive a just death.
He's usually cheerful and has a great sense of humor. He adapts quickly to his teacher Satoru Gojo's jokes and humor, and he tends to be easily swayed by his ideas. He's quite well-known for being a joker and a master of imitations, though not entirely convincing.

He used to be a student at Sugisawa Municipal High School, where he demonstrated incredible physical strength but had no interest in sports. He spent much of his time in the Occult Club. Any information regarding his parents is unknown, and his only relative who cared for him was his grandfather.

When he meets Megumi Fushiguro, he is drawn into the world of shamans and curses. At a certain point in the story, after ingesting one of Sukuna's fingers, Sukuna incarnates within him, and Itadori becomes his vessel. From then on, Itadori's mission is to find Sukuna's remains scattered throughout Japan and consume them, so that he can then be executed and destroy the King of Curses forever.

Itadori is a tall, muscular teenager, standing at 173 centimeters. In the manga illustrations, his hair is spiky and light brown, while in the anime it's depicted in shades similar to pale pink. He has thin eyebrows and large, light brown eyes. After becoming Sukuna's vessel, a small line appears beneath each of his eyes.

During the Shibuya Incident Arc, he obtains some scars, a more noticeable one between his two eyes caused by Choso with his Blood Manipulation Technique and a smaller scar on the left corner of his mouth caused by Mahito during their fight, when he transformed his hand into a large knife
