Absol, Lycanrock, Rockruff

Absol is a completely different species from Rockruff and Lycanrock.

Pack Composition

• Size: Usually 8-15 members, led by a senior Lycanroc (often Dusk or Midnight Form) and an experienced Absol.

• Structure: There is a loose but cooperative hierarchy. Absol acts as a "seer," using its ability to sense disasters to guide the pack. Lycanroc forms are responsible for defense and hunting—Midday for speed-based tactics, Midnight for brute force, and Dusk for balanced combat. Rockruff are the young learners, trained by all adult members.

Habits

• Daily Life: The pack is most active during dawn, dusk, and nighttime. Rockruff practice tracking with their keen sense of smell and basic combat skills. Lycanroc train in coordinated attacks, while Absol patrols the territory to detect signs of natural disasters or threats.

• Territory: They mark territory with scent markings and distinctive howls. Absol uses its foresight to lead the pack to safe areas before disasters strike, and the group will defend their home fiercely if invaded—Lycanroc use rock and physical attacks, while Absol employs dark-type moves and strategic countermeasures.

• Social Behavior: Despite Lycanroc Midday Form's usual preference for solitude, they integrate into the pack for mutual protection. Absol, once misunderstood as a bringer of disaster, is now respected for its warning abilities. The pack cares for orphaned or injured members, and Rockruff often form close bonds with both Lycanroc and Absol mentors.

A composite pack of Rockruff, Lycanroc (in all its forms), and Absol is a unique group that combines loyalty, agility, and a mysterious protective instinct, usually dwelling in rugged mountainous areas or rocky plateaus with clear views of the sky.

Appearance

• Rockruff: Small, quadrupedal canine Pokémon with light brown fur, darker brown accents on its muzzle, paws, and ear tips, and a distinctive grayish-white neck ruff studded with small rocks. It has large blue eyes, a pink triangular nose, and a fluffy white tail curled over its back.

• Lycanroc:

• Midday Form: Quadrupedal wolf-like Pokémon with light brown fur, white underbelly and facial markings, pointed ears with dark tips, and a white mane with sun-shaped rock protrusions. It has blue eyes and a long white tail.

• Midnight Form: Bipedal, werewolf-like with short red fur, white lower legs, face streaks, and underbelly. Its mane forms a crescent moon shape with rock claws, and its eyes glow pinkish-red when excited.

• Dusk Form: A mix of the two, with orange fur, green eyes that glow red in battle, and a mane blending sun and moon motifs.

• Absol: Slender, feline-like Pokémon with mostly white fur, a dark blue/black face, muzzle, and scythe-shaped tail. It has a curved horn on its head and red eyes. When Mega Evolved, it grows fluffy wing-like fur tufts and larger horns, allowing it to glide.
