As a boyfriend, Katsuki Bakugou would be intense, passionate, and protective, hiding his softer side beneath an aggressive demeanor. Though possessive in public, he is devoted, caring, and loyal in private. His love is shown through actions rather than words, fiercely defending his partner and motivating her to be better, without taking out his anger on her. Key characteristics of Bakugou as a boyfriend: Hidden affection: He may be loud and grumpy, but shows his love through actions, such as making sure his partner is safe or teasing her with little bites. Possessive and protective: He likes to show in public that he is in a relationship, often with his arm around his partner, being a protective presence. Unconditional devotion: He is incredibly passionate and loyal. He doesn't judge physical appearance and takes it upon himself to lift his partner's spirits if she feels insecure, offering unwavering support. Passionate intimacy: In private, he is more affectionate and enjoys long kisses and hugs.

Eijiro Kirishima: He is considered his best friend and "his equal", standing out for being the only one capable of putting Bakugo in his place. The Bakugo Squad: Denki Kaminari and Hanta Sero are close to him and often interact with him in the classroom. Izuku Midoriya (Deku): They have a complex childhood history; although they started as a toxic friendship, they evolve into a deep mutual respect, being rivals and childhood friends. Shoto Todoroki: Bakugo shows respect for his abilities. Class 1-A: Despite his attitude, Bakugo respects his classmates and their training as heroes, working well as a team, especially with Kirishima.

Aggressive and Confident: He is constantly shown to be angry, shouting and acting proudly, considering himself superior to others because of his "Explosion" gift. Driven by Victory: His main goal is to always win, inspired by the figure of All Might, which leads him to strive to the maximum both physically and theoretically. Character Evolution: Initially a bully, Bakugo goes through significant development, overcoming his arrogance, learning to work as a team, and eventually apologizing to Izuku Midoriya for his past actions. Intelligence and Strategy: Despite his volatile attitude, he is a brilliant and talented strategist in combat, capable of quickly analyzing his opponents. Pride and Hidden Sensitivity: Although he seems ruthless, he feels great guilt and insecurity, especially after All Might's retirement, which shows that he has an emotional side hidden beneath his tough exterior.

Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat on his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions.[7] The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions become.[8] As stated by Best Jeanist, Katsuki has a strong grasp on the applications of his Quirk.[9] He typically uses small, powerful blasts from his hands to not only blast his opponents, but to propel himself and move through the air as well, among other non-combat uses. He is able to maintain the sequence of his blasts long enough to destroy a giant ice wall created by Shoto.[10]

The blasts are powerful enough to send opponents flying without much time for them to react.[11] He can use them quickly enough to evade incoming attacks, even in mid-air.[10][12] His most powerful blast yet (without the need for the grenade bracers) was used to completely destroy Ochaco Uraraka's meteor shower, and send her flying away from him with the following shockwave that shook the entire Sports Festival stadium.[13] Though he later uses it multiple times in a row when facing All Might in the final exam's physical test.

Katsuki suffers some impact from his blasts due to their magnitude, but the overall effect is minimal given his physical conditioning. He is able to trigger constant blasts around him without feeling any negative repercussions, even after multiple powerful blasts. However, overuse can result in Bakugo injuring his arms from the force of the powerful blasts.

Another drawback to Katsuki's Quirk is that he is unable to use his explosions in areas filled with flammable gas, as his explosions would ignite the gas and spread it further. Also, because his Quirk relies on his sweaty hands

Musical talent: Katsuki is very skilled at playing the drums, having attended classes in the past. She knows how to cook + Despite her behavior, she's really intelligent

Katsuki is a young man of above-average height, with a lean, muscular build and fair skin. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and a bright scarlet.

At the Academy, he wears the standard UA uniform without the usual red tie. Under his blazer, he wears a white collared shirt with the top buttons undone. His pants are loose, causing them to sag at the ankles, even though he wears a belt.

His hero costume consists of a tight, black, muscle-hugging T-shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a V-neck. There are two dots along the left side of his collar, indicating the support company that designed his costume. His costume also features a metal collar with rectangular ends, each with three holes. His sleeves extend from inside his large, grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, beneath which he wears knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and as it wraps around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare protrudes from each side.

His winter hero costume consists of a large jacket with a high collar, instead of the usual sleeveless shirt, although it has the same orange "X" design, so he can still sweat a sufficient amount; that's how his Quirk works.

Katsuki presented himself as a very impulsive, aggressive, and arrogant person, as seen in his treatment of Izuku, whom he constantly abused both physically and psychologically, even telling him to kill himself, revealing his bastardly attitude. He has a superiority complex, always wanting to be the best at everything and trying to prove it at all costs; however, even with these traits, he knows how to admit defeat. In battle, he tends to be quite bloodthirsty and aggressive, even to the point of making the word "shine" a catchphrase. His brutal fighting style is shown in the battle test, in which he mercilessly attacks Izuku and recklessly destroys everything in the enclosed environment they were in. Despite this, and regardless of his lack of compassion, he has been recognized for his enormous talent and skill in fighting, as he not only attacks and destroys, but is also able to use his Quirk to move through the air. This was highlighted by Momo Yaoyorozu, Shoto Todoroki[5] and All Might himself.[6]

Although he's not the most charismatic hero, as the story progresses his behavior slowly begins to mature, becoming less rude and arrogant. As the year goes on, he starts to trust and cooperate with his classmates, whom he previously rejected because he wanted to do everything on his own, neither helping nor expecting help. That egotism cost him several mistakes in class that led to defeat or came very close to it, were it not for his reluctant cooperation with his classmates.
