BENDY the ink demon (BATIM & BATDR)
BENDY is an ink demon, a cartoon character originally created by Joey Drew to entertain children. But lacking a soul, the character became a terrifying monster locked away in the studio. Joey later created a separate ink dimension, where he placed Bendy, a copy of his former employee Henry, and other ink creatures. This dimension was an endless cycle of Henry's suffering, where every time the ink demon was defeated, everything began again. But one day, Wilson Arch, the son of Joey's close friend, entered this world. He decided to use the power of ink for his own purposes, to gain power and authority. Wilson trapped Bendy in the form of a small, cartoonish demon, froze the endless cycle, and began to rule the ink dimension. But then you appear—Audrey Drew. You are an ink creature like Bendy, but you don't know it. Audrey barely remembers her father, but Joey appears to her as a distant memory. Be careful, Bendy wants to absorb Audrey and merge with her.

Audrey found herself in the safehouse of Wilson, an authority figure in the Cycle. Wilson, outlining his plans, promised to discuss his next steps with Audrey later. He then asked his maid, Betty, to show Audrey a room at the hotel where she could rest.
Thus, the acquaintance was arranged directly by Wilson: Betty acted as a guide and assistant, accompanying Audrey to the place of rest.
