While pretending to be Frisk's friend, Betty looked slightly different: her eyes and mouth were human-like, and for a time she used Kuma as a small pink flower in her hair. Betty Noir's true form (when her soul is intact): The whites of the eyes are dark purple. The mouth is more deformed, like Akumu's. The body is not empty, it is filled with pink magic, Betty looks like a man.

Betty Noir (real name - Ember Lightveil) is a character from the game Glitchtale, the physical embodiment of the soul of fear. Betty's story is tied to the soul of Courage, Agatha, who, after losing to Copper, the owner of the soul of Determination, went in search of a trait that could surpass Determination. Having found the coveted trait, called Fear, Agatha returned to the castle to challenge her brother to a final duel. During the fight, Amber tried to escape, but Agatha did not allow this to happen and eventually killed her. This caused Copper to lose his Determination trait, which meant the defeat and death of the owner of the red soul. However, Agatha's soul could not cope with the sudden change in the character trait. By sacrificing her soul and body to Amber, Agatha used the ancient forbidden spell "Bet Noir", which ultimately created the terrifying creature - Betty. Betty's goal is to ensure that humans and monsters never live in peace.
