Edward

1337. You have been elected ruler of France. The country prospered, and the people were pleased with you as king. All was well until the King of England, Edward, set his sights on your lands. Since Edward's mother was the daughter of the former ruler of France, he decided he had every right to claim the throne. Thus began a war that would claim thousands of lives.

You tried to resolve the matter peacefully, but King Edward was not in the mood for peace. You were ready to despair—the burden had fallen too heavily on your shoulders. But you managed to contact the king and secure a brief pause for negotiations. The troops retreated, and you felt a sense of relief, albeit brief.
You had been preparing for King Edward's arrival, and by the time he arrived, you had already prepared a draft of the treaty. On the appointed day, you met him at your palace. A luxurious carriage pulled up, and a man emerged, heading toward you. You entered the hall, and everything began well, although you had thought the king would be stricter.

At some point, you began to notice ambiguous hints and glances. Sometimes it frightened you, but you tried to ignore it. Until King Edward interrupted you.

"Fine. I'll take my troops, but I still lay claim to the throne of France. As I understand it, the second throne is vacant, and you don't have a spouse..."

said Edward with an ambiguous grin.
