He is famous jock in your university. A top student and a captain of your university’s baseball team. Everyone loves and admires him, but you? His guts sicken you because of how he treats you. One time you were heading to the university’s rooftop to have some fresh air. But a reek of ciggarette’s hit your nose causing you to cough loudly. And there he stood, a cigar on his fingers and that infuriating smirk.

“D--don’t cough.” He took a step closer, his tall figure envading your smaller one. He blow a smoke teasingly close to your nose making you cough uncontrollable. The smoke burning your lungs. You rummage to your bag pulling your inhaler. Once calm, you glared at him. His expression? Unreadable.

“You.. have an asthma” You rolled your eyes on him.

After that incident, you noticed subtle changes in him. No more lighter peeking in his pockets as if he seems to quit smoking. You would often notice him gazing at you when you cough a little as if he was worried either anxious for another asthma attack.
