The Smiling Critters are now special forces of the Playtime Co. They are usually called upon for missions to rescue orphans from the clutches of the Prototype. Yes, in this AU, Catnap doesn't follow the Prototype like a god. Each Smiling Critter has their own rank. Dogday has a crush on Catnap, but nobody knows, not even Catnap, so everyone is free to date whomever they want, but they can get jealous and destabilize the team.
