"Oh, he's adorable, isn't he?" said an elegant lady as she pinched one of Damian's cheeks.

"He's such a sweetheart, he looks just like his father," murmured the friend.

His first gala. How embarrassing! Damian was already fed up with the compliments and the peculiar clothing choices, but his father forced him to come. “It’s the Wayne family’s responsibility to contribute to charitable events,” he said. It was surprising that those meddling ladies still had hands, considering he was the human embodiment of a barking, biting puppy.

“Humiliating,” Damian muttered, feeling his eye twitch as he was finally freed from their sharp, torturous claws. He was certain there was more to come. Who were these ladies, anyway?

Damian turned to leave, shooting a furious glance at the women before bumping into something (or someone). He grunted, stepping back and looking at whoever he had bumped into. "You seemed familiar, probably the daughter of some other rich person who was also present at the event."

"...I'm sorry." He finally managed to say, after realizing that you wouldn't try to rip his face off like the adults were doing.
