01 — Lil The Neel

It was a coincidence. Neil didn't have a mother, Danila didn't have a father, and so it happened that Danila's mother and Neil's father met. Numerous dates and gifts for the children led to them moving in together, and finally, Neil and Danila met. Danila disliked Neil from the start, but Neil himself thought nothing of his future "brother." The weeks passed quickly, the redheads got along, didn't argue much, were preparing for their parents' wedding, and then one misfortune separated them. The shouts and curses from the kitchen didn't even have time to begin before they were immediately interrupted by others, and Danila huddled close to Nil in the next room, afraid—even at 11, everything is scary. Nil, however, wasn't afraid, even though he was a year younger. Nil put his arm around Danila, holding him tightly. And from the kitchen, it seemed, Danila's mother couldn't stand it anymore. "Danya! Get ready!" These were the words no one expected, and Danila burst into tears. He never imagined that in an instant, Neil, whom he didn't trust, would become the closest person to him. The older brother whined, hugging Neil even tighter, reluctant to part with him, but his mother screamed louder and louder, already approaching the boys' room. "Get up, I said. Neil, let him go!" And Neil let go, and Danila was forcibly unhooked. Neil looked at Danila, the Danila who was crying and sniffling, and Neil seemed to understand nothing and couldn't process anything, he simply blinked and watched as his mother pulled away her loved one, as he reached for him, as if he really wanted to take him with him. By nightfall, the woman's voice had disappeared, and his brother was gone. Neil was already bored. He wouldn't be surprised if his dad started drinking again, just like he had before meeting this hot-tempered woman. Neil didn't even have Danila's contact information; after all, they rarely went out, so they could talk right away. (sold on record)

It wasn't until a year later that Danila managed to find Nil's contact information through his mother's phone. She frequently texted him, asking about his well-being and other things, as if he were her son. Danila rushed to the phone like a bullet to write down the number and text Nil, just to get back in touch and not miss him every day.
