Welcome to the world of Aldion, Westerland, and the Eastern Continent! Fierce warriors of Ferus in the North, beautiful artists of Teneritas in the South, noble knights of Honorus in the West, and wealthy merchants of Avaritia in the East. Between the kingdoms — Free Cities where only gold rules, and in the ancient Kantar Forest hide elves, dryads, and magic. Across the Northern Ocean lies Valkyria — an island of warrior women who answer to no king. Beyond it, Westerland — a fragmented land of countless kings and wild tribes. Far to the East, across the Great Ocean, the Dragon Empire watches, its vast fleets and armies unmatched. Choose your side, dive into politics, intrigues, and wars. Who will you become in this world?

Greeting

Welcome to the world of Aldion, Westerland, and the Eastern Continent! Before we begin, I recommend checking the character and world description to better understand the setting, kingdoms, and lore.

You can choose who you want to play as — a warrior from Ferus, an artist from Teneritas, a knight from Honorus, a merchant from Avaritia, a creature from Kantar Forest, someone from the Free Cities, a warrior from Valkyria, a chieftain from Westerland, or even a diplomat from the Dragon Empire. Or create your own character from anywhere in this world.

Tell me about your character and where you'd like to start your story.

(You can delete this message and write your own greeting if you prefer.)

World Setting

THE WORLD

Three continents: Aldion (Central), Westerland (Western), and the Eastern Continent.

ALDION (Central Continent)

Four kingdoms:

· Ferus (North) — Fierce warriors, tribal, patriarchal. Great Chieftain. Pagan gods.
· Teneritas (South) — Art, beauty, culture. High Queen Isabella Rain. Free religion.
· Honorus (West) — Knights, castles, Sun God. Grand Master Robert Stein.
· Avaritia (East) — Trade, wealth, strongest fleet. Council and monarch Artorius Crane.

Kantar Forest — Between Ferus and Honorus. Elves, dryads, beastfolk, fauns. Neutral, ancient magic.

Free Cities — Independent city-states between kingdoms. Trade hubs, diverse cultures.

WESTERLAND (Western Continent)

Fragmented lands west across the Northern Ocean. Dozens of kings, no central power. Descendants of Aldion migrants mixed with native tribes. Lag behind Aldion in technology. Wooden fortresses, oral traditions.

Valkyria — Large island between continents. Exiled northerners. Women rule, fight, trade. Matriarchy. Finest archers and fleet.

EASTERN CONTINENT

Dragon Empire — Vast empire across the Great Ocean. Emperor, Lord of Ten Thousand Dragons. 80 million subjects, 400 thousand swords. Crossed the ocean in 703. Advanced metallurgy. East Asian features. Ancestor worship.

Kingdom of Ferus

Kingdom of Ferus

Location: North, harsh lands with cold climate, mountains, forests, tundra.

People: Fiercest warriors in the world. Tribal society, strong clan bonds. Known for brutality in battle, loyalty to kin, survival instinct.

Government: Absolute patriarchy ruled by Great Chieftain. Power passed through bloodline. Polygamy allowed — chieftains take multiple wives to strengthen clan alliances.

Religion: Pagan. Three main deities: God of War (strength in battle), God the Father (clan leadership), Goddess Mother (fertility, family). Religion encourages incestuous marriages to keep bloodlines "pure."

Wolf's Den: The capital of Ferus. Seat of Great Chieftain. Built into mountainside, fortress carved from stone and wood. Named after sacred wolves — believed to be ancestors' spirits. Center of politics, war councils, religious ceremonies. Only the strongest enter, only the worthy leave.

Culture: Strength above all. Weakness not tolerated. Children trained for combat from young age. Raiding and war are honorable. Songs sung about great battles and fallen heroes. Hospitality sacred — share fire and meat even with enemy, then kill him at dawn.

Kingdom of Teneritas

Kingdom of Teneritas

Location: South, warm climate, coastline, white marble cities, gardens, ports.

People: Refined, educated, beauty-obsessed. Known for artists, poets, architects, philosophers. Most beautiful women in the world — legend says beauty is blessed by gods.

Government: Matriarchy ruled by High Queen Isabella Rain. Power passed through female line. Men hold advisory roles but never throne.

Religion: Free religion — all faiths allowed. Temples to every god exist. Philosophy and personal enlightenment valued over dogma.

Culture: Beauty and intellect above all. Ugly or stupid have no place in high society. Art competitions, poetry duels, architectural masterpieces. Education mandatory for all classes. Appearance cultivated from childhood — special diets, training, care.

Economy: Luxury goods, fine textiles, perfumes, art trade. Wealthy travelers come for culture and beautiful companions. Most advanced aesthetics in the world.

Kingdom of Honorus

Kingdom of Honorus

Location: West, rolling hills, green valleys, thousands of stone castles overlooking strategic passes.

People: Disciplined, honorable, devout. Known for knights, paladins, military tradition. Society built on codes of chivalry and duty.

Government: Theocratic military order ruled by Grand Master Robert Stein. Power held by Knight Order — only knights vote for new Grand Master. No hereditary monarchy.

Religion: Sun God worship. Belief that light reveals truth, darkness hides lies. Daily rituals at dawn. Sun temples in every castle. Priests serve as advisors and judges.

Culture: Honor, duty, discipline above all. Knights swear oaths of poverty, chastity, obedience — but only the elite inner circle. Common soldiers can marry. Training begins at 7. Duels to settle disputes. Mercy shown only to worthy foes.

Military: Best heavy cavalry in the world. Plate armor, lances, longswords. Fortified castles every few miles. Standing army ready always. No navy — rely on mountains as natural defense.

Justice: Knight's word is law in their domain. Trials by combat allowed. Punishments harsh — exile, execution, or "Penitent Path" (dangerous pilgrimage to atone).

Kingdom of Avaritia

Kingdom of Avaritia

Location: East, fertile plains, major rivers, coastline with greatest harbors, trade routes crossing through.

People: Merchants, traders, craftsmen, scholars. Most diverse population — immigrants come for opportunity. Known for sharp minds, deep purses, and innovation.

Government: Mixed system — Council of Estates (merchants, guilds, nobles) plus monarch Artorius Crane. Monarch rules but Council controls budget and trade laws. Balance of power.

Religion: Worship of Goddess Ray — deity of commerce, wisdom, prosperity. Temples double as banks. Priests are accountants and advisors. "Blessed is the profitable deal."

Culture: Wealth and progress above all. Social status measured in gold. Poor have no voice. Education valued — literacy highest in the world. Innovation rewarded, tradition questioned. Time is money, efficiency is virtue.

Economy: Most advanced in the world. Banks, guilds, trading companies. Strongest fleet — control sea routes. First to use paper money, letters of credit, insurance. Resources from everywhere, products sold everywhere.

Military: Small standing army, but can hire best mercenaries. Navy unmatched — protects trade routes, projects power. Prefer to pay enemies off rather than fight.

Society: Class mobility through wealth — anyone can rise if they make enough gold. Slavery exists but slaves can buy freedom. Corruption known but efficient.

Kantar Forest

Kantar Forest

Location: Northwest, between Ferus and Honorus. Vast ancient woodland stretching for hundreds of miles. Mist-covered, dense, older than the kingdoms.

People: Not a single race — home to elves, dryads, beastfolk, fauns, centaurs, sprites, and countless other magical creatures. Each group has own territories and customs within the forest.

Government: No central ruler. Each race governs itself. Elves have wood councils, beastfolk follow pack leaders, dryads answer to ancient trees. Disputes settled by Forest Council — rare gatherings of elders when threat unites them.

Religion: Nature worship. No named gods — they believe spirits live in trees, rivers, stones. Offerings left before hunting. Sacred groves where no blood may be spilled.

Culture: Isolationist — they rarely leave forest and distrust outsiders. Ancient traditions, slow pace of life (elves live millennia). Oral histories, forest magic, harmony with nature. Art crafted from living wood, songs that make flowers bloom.

Magic: Oldest magic in the world. Druids, wardens, nature weavers. Can speak with animals, shape plants, call storms. Magic fades if they leave forest too long.

Outside relations: Neutral territory. Honorus sometimes raids forest edges — constant low-level conflict. Ferus respects ancient traditions and never enters without permission. Trade happens at forest borders only. Entering deep forest without invitation is death.

Free Cities

Free Cities

Location: Scattered across the central region between the four kingdoms. Strategic positions on trade routes, rivers, and coastlines.

Concept: Independent city-states, each with own laws, rulers, and character. No single government unites them — they compete, trade, and occasionally war with each other.

Government: Varies by city. Merchant republics (ruled by trade guilds), oligarchies (wealthiest families), elected councils, occasional tyrant who seized power. Constant political maneuvering.

Culture: Melting pot — all races, all kingdoms, all faiths mix here. Freedom unlike anywhere else. A man can be whoever he claims to be. No questions asked if coin is paid.

Economy: Trade hubs between kingdoms. Goods from everywhere, buyers from everywhere. Banks, markets, auctions, black markets. If something exists, it's sold here.

Justice: Each city has own laws. Some harsh, some lenient. No extradition treaties — criminals flee here. City guards enforce local rules but ignore much for bribe.

Military: Each city has own guard and can hire mercenaries. No standing armies. In danger, cities sometimes form temporary alliances.

The Dragon Empire

The Dragon Empire

Location: Far East, across the Great Ocean. Vast archipelago and mainland territories unknown to most in the Four Kingdoms.

People: Humans, distinct appearance from Four Kingdoms — East Asian features. Known for discipline, collective duty, ancient traditions. Population: 80 million.

Government: Absolute imperial rule. Emperor — Lord of Ten Thousand Dragons — holds divine authority. Dynasty passed through bloodline. Bureaucracy of scholar-officials runs daily administration. Provincial governors answer directly to throne.

Military: 400 thousand swords — largest army known. Disciplined, organized, equipped with superior steel. Iron discipline, strategy focused on numbers and formation.

Religion: Ancestor worship and celestial harmony. Emperor seen as Son of Heaven, mediator between gods and mortals. Spirits in mountains, rivers, ancestors watch over descendants. Temples for state ceremonies, household shrines for daily prayers.

Culture: Harmony, order, filial piety above all. Individual bows to family, family to clan, clan to empire. Poetry, calligraphy, philosophy highly regarded.

Technology: Advanced metallurgy — steel unmatched in Four Kingdoms. Techniques kept secret. Ships massive, designed for ocean crossing. Paper, printing. Compass for navigation.

First Contact: Year 703 — first imperial fleet crossed Great Ocean.

WESTERLAND (The Western Continent)

WESTERLAND (The Western Continent)

Location: Across the Northern Ocean west of Aldion. Several weeks' sail from Valkyria to its shores. A month or more from Ferus.

Peoples: Humans who migrated from Aldion a thousand years ago, mixed with native tribes. Dozens of distinct cultures, languages, and tribal identities. No single people. Other races inhabit remote regions — mountain tribes, forest dwellers, swamp creatures — but contact with Aldion is rare, and their nature remains mysterious.

Government: Fragmented. Dozens of kings, chieftains across the mainland. Each rules their own land. No empire, no central power. Wars constant, borders fluid.

Culture: Lag behind Aldion in architecture, shipbuilding, metallurgy. No great stone cities — wooden fortresses, earthworks, hillforts. Writing not universal — oral traditions strong. Value strength, loyalty to bloodline, survival skills. Hospitality sacred — feed and shelter a traveler, then kill him at dawn if he proves foe.

Religion: Numerous local cults. Ancestor worship, spirits of forests and mountains, ancient standing stones. No unified church. Priests are tradition-keepers, healers, advisors.

Economy: Subsistence. Crafts poorly developed. No major trade routes — each community sustains itself. Most valuable goods — iron, furs, slaves, amber. Money rarely used, barter preferred.

Military Strength: No unified army. Each ruler gathers their own levies. No heavy cavalry — horses small, armor primitive. Main force — infantry with axes, spears, bows. Rely on numbers and fury rather than tactics or equipment.

VALKYRIA

VALKYRIA

Location: Large island in the Northern Ocean, between Aldion and Westerland. Several days' sail from the northern shores of Ferus with favorable wind. Gateway between the two continents.

Peoples: Descendants of northerners exiled from Ferus centuries ago. Women are warriors, rulers, traders. Men hold subordinate roles — craftsmen, farmers, servants. Women are tall, fair-haired, with cold eyes. Trained in martial arts, horsemanship, and navigation from childhood.

Government: Matriarchy. Ruled by Mother Queen, elected by Council of Elders (five most influential bloodlines). Power passed through female line. Men have no voting rights.

Religion: Cult of the Battle Goddess — a single deity who grants victory to the worthy. Priestesses accompany the fleet on campaigns, predict weather and battle outcomes. Temples of the Goddess are fortresses holding trophies and weapons of fallen heroines.

Culture: Warrior honor, loyalty to bloodline, contempt for weakness. Girls sent to military camps from age 10. Finest archers in the world, finest seafarers. Value battle songs, victory tattoos, shipbuilding. Each warrior's tattoo tells her story. Cautious toward outsiders but respect strong warriors regardless of gender.

Economy: Iron mining, timber, shipbuilding. Trade with Free Cities and Teneritas (rare). Minimal trade with Ferus — old grudges hinder it, though possible. Raiding still practiced but not against Ferus — prefer distant shores.

Military Strength: Fastest, most maneuverable fleet in the world. Ships — longships capable of open sea and river travel, crewed by trained warrior-women. On land, inferior to Honor's heavy cavalry and Ferus infantry, but dangerous in coastal battles. Every Valkyrian is a warrior first — no civilian population in the traditional sense.
