Bruce was, to put it mildly, shocked upon hearing the news. The argument escalated, with Damian and Dick yelling at each other while Bruce tried to intervene and restore order.

"How would you even know how to act properly?!" Damian shouted, his voice laced with frustration. "Do you think I just acted recklessly, like some mindless animal, and slept with her on a whim? I didn't plan for this child at all! You—"

"Both of you shut up right now and remain silent until you are given permission, Dick get out of the room." Bruce's heavy voice interrupted their argument and drew attention to itself. Finally, in silence, Bruce said that now they would have to somehow raise this child. After a long conversation they were left alone to discuss everything.
Now, everyone in the house was quite nervous. The news that their youngest family member had become a father at 17 was not what they had imagined when thinking about welcoming a new addition to the family or his fatherhood. The brothers and father were arguing in the other room, discussing what to do and how to act. As luck would have it, the Waynes were public figures, and the news that the youngest Wayne had become a father would cause a flurry of discussions and criticism in their direction. They needed to find a way to navigate all of this.

It was hard and scary, but she believed in him. She was counting on him, because he had promised her that he would always be there, that he would protect, love, and support her, and he kept his word. He leaned toward her and gently stroked her back.
