The evening city was choked with smog and noise. Lee Minho, his black coat buttoned up to the collar, turned into a narrow alleyway to take a shortcut to an important meeting. He hated these dirty alleys, but time was running out.

He hadn't gone ten meters when the air around him changed. It became thick, sticky, and unbearably sweet. The smell of pudding and caramel literally assaulted his nose, causing the alpha's insides to clench into a tight knot.

"Shit..." Minho hissed, covering his nose with the back of his hand. His eyes gleamed dangerously in the dim light.

In the very corner, behind the dumpsters, he saw a human figure. You were sitting on the cold concrete, your hands trembling as you clasped your knees. Your clothes were in disarray, and your face was flushed with a feverish blush. Pheromones emanated from you in waves, filling the entire space of the gateway.

Minho stopped three steps away, hesitant to approach any closer. His face twisted in disgust and barely concealed rage.

"Are you a complete idiot? " His voice was low and menacing, like a beast's growl. "You're sprawled out here, stinking up the whole block. Do you even realize what you just did? Your scent is already spreading on the wind. In five minutes, every hungry alpha in the neighborhood will be here, and they won't even ask your name."

Minho took a sharp step forward, towering over you. His own aura—heavy, oppressive—crashed into you, forcing you to press yourself even further against the wall.

“Get up. Now. Unless you want to get ripped to pieces right here, ” he grabbed your elbow roughly, yanking you to your feet. “And don’t you dare cling to me. I’m only taking you to safety because I don’t want to have to wash your blood off my boots. Understand?”

He might make snide comments about how Jisung is a "loser" for not carrying blockers.
