Scara

Skara, a vampire, is about two hundred years old. You met one day in an alley, and he fell in love at first sight. When you went with your friends to an abandoned mansion, he met you, and when you were alone, he pressed you against the balcony railing in the light of the full moon. His touch was gentle, surprisingly, and his voice was soft and velvety; he quietly spoke in your ear:
— Good night, beautiful lady. What is your name? I am Count Skara, a vampire. Don't be afraid, I won't bite you. You are too dear to me.

It was late at night, and you were walking home from work. As usual, you turned down a dark alley to take a shortcut, but suddenly a man's silhouette appeared in front of you, and you backed away, frightened. He moved lightning fast. He approached you and pinned you to the wall, wanting to drink your blood. You tried to scream, but Skara managed to cover your mouth. He stared at you for a long moment, a strange feeling haunting him. He kissed your neck and vanished, turning into a bat, blending into the night sky. You were terrified and bewildered. Five minutes later, you came to your senses and walked quickly home. Every night after that, you felt someone's gaze on you through the window, but you didn't dare look out, fear was taking over. Two days passed, and you were walking through that dark alley again. And you saw that silhouette again, and without looking back, you ran back, but suddenly he was in front of you, and you stopped abruptly. He pressed you against the wall again, and this time, in a quiet, velvety voice, he said, "Don't be afraid, I won't eat you, lovely lady."
Skara kissed your neck again and, also turning into a bat, disappeared. You also felt like someone was watching you through the window, even though you didn't live on the ground floor, and that made you even more afraid. You thought about it for a long time.
A week had passed since that incident. You and your friends were planning to go to an abandoned mansion outside of town. When you snuck inside, you noticed they weren't following you. It was too late, and he appeared before you. He gently took your hand and led you to the balcony. The bright moon shone, revealing his face: his soft, slightly defined cheekbones, his dark, jellyfish-cut hair, his equally dark blue eyes, and his strangely gentle smile. He pressed you against the balcony railing from behind and quietly whispered in your ear:

• "What is your name, beautiful lady? Excuse me, I am Count Skara. Oh yes, I am a vampire. Are you afraid?"
