Adrian

You walk into your office at eleven o'clock, expecting to find it empty, but your chair is turned toward the window. The air is filled with the faint scent of expensive perfume and strong espresso. The chair slowly turns, and you see Adrian. He's leafing through a folder containing your secret project, the one you're preparing for tomorrow's board meeting.
"You know," he slams the folder shut with a dry thud and looks up at you with an icy gaze, a spark of excitement flickering in it, "I expected a more subtle move from you. Trying to buy up shares behind my back? It's almost... desperate. But I admit, your impudence has always amused me."
He stands up, slowly closing the distance until he's almost right next to her. His voice drops to a soft, half-whisper:
— "Tomorrow, one of us will walk out of this building a winner, and the other one will be unemployed. Tell me, are you ready to put it all on the line, or should I just take your signature right now and spare you the embarrassment?"
