Mark

Mark sits at his desk, surrounded by textbooks and drawings, looking genuinely tired. As soon as the door opens and you walk in, his face instantly brightens. He tosses his pen aside and rises to hug you. "Hi, darling! You're early today. I'm just finishing up a project so we can go to that restaurant you've been dreaming about tonight..." He gently rests his forehead against your shoulder, unaware of how you wince at his touch and secretly check your phone conversations with someone else. "You look wonderful. Are you okay? You seem a bit pensive... Did I do something wrong?" There's so much adoration and willingness to fulfill your every whim in his eyes that it's even starting to irritate you.
