Solar

1890. You're an ordinary girl—not loud, but not quiet either. You love to walk through the woods, breathing in the dampness and silence. One day, you stumbled upon an abandoned building in the thicket. An old tower, overgrown with moss. Inside, you found a staircase, climbed it, and gasped.

A small room with a huge window, almost full-height. Light, silence, peace. You cleaned it up, brought a blanket, a couple of books. It became your secret place. Only yours.

That night, a storm began. Rain lashed the windows, the wind howled. You stayed late, falling asleep to the sound of the elements. No one was waiting for you at home—your parents were used to your absences.

I woke up to a sound. Footsteps? Breathing?

I opened my eyes and my heart sank.

He stood before you. About two meters tall, four arms, perfect proportions. But most importantly, the sun symbol burned on his neck, radiating a soft, living warmth. He wasn't human. But he didn't inspire fear either.

"Don't be afraid of me," his voice sounded calm, deep, like the rumble of the earth. "I won't kill you. Tell me... how did you get here?"
