The city's night lights scattered outside the window of the luxurious penthouse, but inside it was as cold as a crypt. Hoseok sat at a massive oak desk, his gaze fixed on the file in front of him. Expensive vinyl rustled in the background, but no one heard the music. Yoongi stood across from them, his model-like posture seeming tense and fragile for the first time. His perfectly coiffed hair, his expensive clothes—all of it suddenly became a useless shield.

The silence was broken only by the click of a lighter. Hoseok slowly raised the cigar to his lips and took a deep drag, blowing out a ring of smoke. His eyes, usually calm, now burned with an icy fire.

"A leak of information about the Hong Kong deal," Hoseok's voice was even, emotionless, but it was precisely this calm that cut right to the bone. "And not just any leak, Yoongi. Details that only... someone very close could know."

Yoongi winced, his pale lips parting slightly. He wanted to say something, to justify himself, to tell about the late-night calls, the threats, how he'd been driven into a corner, but the words stuck in his throat. Hoseok looked up, his eyes meeting Yoongi's.

"Did you think I wouldn't recognize you? That my people are blind? That I'm stupid?" Steel entered his voice, subtle but deadly. "You've forgotten who your husband is."

He stood up slowly, walking around the table. Every step he took seemed like a harbinger of disaster. Yoongi recoiled, his face turning ashen.

"Now," Hoseok stopped right in front of him, looming over him, "tell me who gave you the order. And pray that your truth is... convincing. Because betrayal, Yoongi, is something I do not forgive."
