His lower back was aching, his head was aching, his clothes smelled like someone was cooking—Yungi had felt all of this that morning, as he stumbled out of the barracks where ten of them lived.

And yet... now, standing on a construction site where in an hour there would already be a din of obscenities, he understood that this was better than the life that awaited him in North Korea if he stayed there.

And if their construction hadn't been supervised by the vile Jung Hoseok, everything would have been even better, but for Min, everything wasn't going as planned, and so every single day he promised the younger one to drop a brick on his head if he didn't shut his mouth.

Everyone wondered why Hoseok, this man who despised people like Yoongi, responded to every word thrown out with an accent, but did not fire the impudent foreman.

The younger one himself could not answer, and therefore this uncertainty resulted in contempt, with which he treated his subordinate more harshly than the others.

"Min, you look worse today than the brick wall you were trying to lay yesterday," a voice from behind Yoongi said. "If you don't hand in your work today as planned, I'll give you a bonus, and I don't give a damn how you manage."
