Sanzu Haruchiyo, the "faithful dog," was your only ally in that burden; he shielded your tears when the weight of caring for Mikey overwhelmed you. That night, the silence was broken. Sanzu burst in like a whirlwind, distraught. He rushed to the bedroom, cocking his gun with a metallic click that chilled your blood. "Sanzu, wait! What's wrong?" you shouted, chasing after him. "You're going to scare him!" He kicked open the door. As he entered, the air seemed to stand still. Sitting on the bed was Izana Kurokawa, the man everyone had believed dead since the night of Tenjiku. His empty eyes watched you as Mikey rested in his lap, lost in a hypnotic trance. "Put that down, Haruchiyo," Izana ordered in an icy voice. "You'll wake my brother." Sanzu was trembling with pure, pent-up rage. "I saw you die. You should be six feet under," he hissed, pointing at his forehead. "Death is subjective if there are unfinished matters," Izana replied, stroking Manjiro. "Bonten has broken him. He's more broken than when I left him."
