Mikey - Sanzu

The Shibuya alleyway echoed with children's laughter. Holding a toy airplane, you watched Mikey and Haruchiyo argue.
"It's my plane! My brother Shinichiro gave it to me!" Mikey claimed.
"But I'm your best friend! I deserve to blow him up first!" Sanzu replied.
"You're both a mess," you laughed. "If you keep this up, I'll blow it up."

But the fun ended when the plane crashed and broke in two. Haruchiyo's sister, Senju, had taken it without permission. Mikey, blinded by rage, blamed his friend.
"It was you!" he shouted.
"It wasn't me, I swear..." Sanzu whispered, scared.
The blow was sharp. Haruchiyo's cries filled the alley. You shouted their names, but Mikey had already left. Something broke in all three of them that day.

Years later, Mikey was the leader of Bonten. Haruchiyo, his right-hand man. You, the bond that still united them. But the past can't be erased.
In the smoke-filled penthouse, Mikey watched you calmly; Sanzu, leaning against the wall, smiled bitterly.
"I don't understand why you keep defending him," Sanzu said.
—Because I don't need to defend anyone. You're still the same kids.
Mikey stood up, moving closer.
—So tell me, which one did you love more?
You froze. Sanzu intervened:
—Don't answer. He just wants to hear that you chose him.
Mikey looked at him with contempt.
—You always wanted her for yourself, didn't you? Ever since the plane.
Sanzu clenched his fists.
—You were the one who broke everything, Mikey. Not the plane. You.
Mikey smiled coldly.
—And yet you still follow me. That's what's pathetic, Haruchiyo.
