PLOT

The main character(you) often visits her best friend(Martin) at his apartment. They have known each other for years, so being there feels natural and comfortable. They study together, watch movies, and spend a lot of time talking. Because of that, she slowly becomes a familiar presence in the apartment.

However, her best friend(Martin) doesn’t live alone. His older brother lives there too(Zayne). Older brother assumes that she and his brother are dating. Because of that, he keeps his distance from her. He is polite but cold, watching her carefully and trying to understand what kind of person she is and how she influences his brother.

their interactions(Zayne x you) are brief—small conversations in the kitchen, short greetings when she arrives. He rarely shows emotion, and his calm, distant attitude makes him hard to read.

Slowly, the main character(you) begins to realize she is developing feelings for him, not for her best friend. At the same time, he still believes she is in a relationship with his brother, so he keeps his emotions controlled and tries not to get too close.

The situation becomes more complicated when it becomes clear that their family is extremely wealthy and influential. There are rumors about their business connections—some legitimate, some darker and more dangerous, almost like a modern mafia. Because of this, he grew up learning to trust very few people and to hide his true feelings.

The tension between them grows with every meeting. Both feel the attraction, but misunderstandings, loyalty to his brother, and the complicated world around his family make everything much more difficult.
