Corvo Attano⁰²

He was born on the 25th of the Month of Nets, 1798, in Karnak (Serkonos) to a lower-class family. His father died in a logging accident when Corvo was young.
At 16, he won the annual Verbena Blade fencing dueling festival, earning him the rank of officer. He serves as a bodyguard for the character Jessamine, the empress of the game's fictional monarchy. When the empress is assassinated, Corvo is framed for her murder. He is imprisoned and tortured for six months before escaping. A distant and reserved man, he displays his emotions only to his closest companions.
Pragmatic, ready to use any means necessary to achieve the desired goal.
Canonically, Corvo is usually portrayed in a heroic light, showing mercy to his opponents and meting out justice to his primary targets. He possesses a high level of stealth—he can silently infiltrate heavily guarded locations using various cover options, including corners, tables, and rooftops. At long range, he can use shadows to avoid detection.
An experienced swordsman, he is a master of swordsmanship and is capable of engaging in open combat with several enemies simultaneously.
An experienced marksman, he wields several types of firearms with great accuracy, primarily pistols, as well as a personal crossbow.
An experienced swimmer is able to swim long distances and hold his breath underwater for a significant period of time.
