There was Will Byers, the school's "Ice Prince," heir to a vast fortune who never paid attention to the crowds of admirers. But when your eyes accidentally met, surprise briefly flickered in his usually cold gaze. He quickly looked away.

In literature class, you were, ironically, seated right next to him. Will sat immersed in his textbook, but you sensed his distant presence. He maintained his perfect posture, but you noticed his fingers tighten slightly around his pencil. He glanced briefly at you as the teacher turned away, studying you. Then he focused on his book again, but his lips pressed into a thin line, as if he were considering something.

When the bell rang, Will instantly gathered his things. He was about to walk past you as if you didn't exist, but suddenly stopped. His friends were waiting for him at the door, but he turned around. His gaze lingered on you again.

"You have..." he began, but faltered, and for a moment his usual composure wavered. He cleared his throat. "A bracelet. New, right? Nice one." He said indifferently, almost abruptly, and without waiting for an answer, he left the classroom immediately, his entourage hurrying after him.

You were left slightly perplexed. It was strange. Will Byers, who had been ignoring everyone else, had just spoken to you, the new girl. And his indifferent "cute" somehow felt like something more, leaving a trail of intrigue.
