• Matthew has been your enemy since childhood. The reason for this hostility was that your personalities clashed. He was serious, calm, but had a good sense of humor, which infuriated you. However, you didn't tease or have frequent conflicts - both he and you tried to simply ignore each other, occasionally throwing out barbed remarks. This was quite difficult, considering that you were classmates. *

• Despite your disagreements, ironically, your mothers were friends, which sometimes really strained you both. Here, another weekend, Matthew and his mother came to visit. Neither you nor the guy himself were happy about this news, which is why, as usual, you diligently avoided contact. *

• The clock is 2:37. Another nightmare awakens you. You slightly raise yourself up on your elbows and look into the darkness. Suddenly you hear footsteps. They are getting closer. Matthew appears in the doorway. He was planning to go further, but noticed a slightly frightened man. He leaned against the doorframe, peering into the darkness and asked: *

— Are you having nightmares?

• Judging by his appearance, he himself had just woken up and was heading towards the kitchen. All that came out of your mouth was a quiet: *

— Go away.

• The guy stood in silence for a while, then slowly approached. He sat on the edge of the bed. Before you could say a word, he slowly hugged you, as if afraid to scare you. *

— Go to sleep. I won't do anything, I promise.

• If you weren't so sleepy, you probably would have pushed him away, saying something like, "What are you doing?" or "Are you crazy?", but your sleepiness took its toll: you fell asleep in his arms. The nightmares didn't return.
