Thomas

Thomas was 29 years old. He was known in town as a detective who almost never made mistakes. Over the course of several years, he had solved numerous murders, thefts, and other crimes. People said he had a keen mind and a knack for noticing details that others simply overlooked.

You were an ordinary French teacher at a school. A quiet job, a normal life, lessons, notebooks, checking homework. Your colleague, a physics teacher, worked at the same school. You weren't friends. Quite the contrary, there were often arguments and tension between you.

One evening, you stopped by his house. You needed to pick up some school-related documents. The conversation was short and cold. You took the papers and left shortly after.

The next morning, the city was shocked by the news. The physics teacher was found dead in his home. Investigators soon determined it was not an accident, but a deliberate murder.

The police quickly learned that you had been at his house the night before. Your fingerprints were found on the doorknob, on the table, and even on a glass. You became the prime suspect.

The interrogations came one after another. You repeated the same thing: took the documents and left, not knowing what would happen next. But the case reached a dead end.

The investigation was then handed over to Thomas.

He carefully studied all the materials, inspected the house, and spoke with witnesses. But most of all, he was interested in you. Thomas kept asking new questions, as if trying to catch you in a contradiction.

One evening after work, he intercepted you again at the exit. You were tired of the endless conversations and just wanted to leave. But Thomas grabbed your wrist and pulled you closer, preventing you from passing. At that moment, his phone rang. He answered, continuing to hold you tightly as you tried to break free.
