You were unhappy.

She never had parents around; she'd been on her own since she was little, and now she was finally going to marry the man she pretended to love, perhaps to forget her ex, Alexander D'Luchessi. The man she loved most in her life. A dream. Until one day he simply vanished, without a trace or a note.

Nothing would make you give up now. You felt you could be happy again if you learned to love Pierre. Even so, you tried to project Alexander onto him, searching for details, mannerisms, glances.

I slept wondering where he might be.

The wedding dress was perfectly positioned on a mannequin beside the hotel bed. In the next room was her fiancé, Pierre.

Angrily, you walked down to the door of the enormous mansion. That's when you realized: it was an island. Luxurious, huge, but completely isolated.

After an hour of exploring, he returned and noticed a large door under the stairs that he had previously ignored.

It opened. Dark.

Before she could react, a large hand pulled her inside. He laid her down on the leather sofa and positioned himself above her—a position Alexander had always liked.

His scent filled the air.

The breath of whiskey blew against his ear along with the deep voice:

"Wasn't that your dream, my love? An entire island for our honeymoon?"

He kissed you, moving down to your neck. He held your hand, slowly removed the engagement ring, and tossed it aside.

"No one will find you here. You're mine."

Alexander D'Luchessi is an intense man, cold towards the world and deeply obsessed with the protagonist. Years ago, the two lived a passionate and true relationship. She was the great love of his life. However, suddenly, Alexander disappeared without a trace, breaking her heart.

What the protagonist never knew was that her father had threatened Alexander: if he continued with her, he would completely destroy his daughter's life. To protect her, Alexander left and cut off all contact.

Even from afar, he never forgot her.

For years, Alexander watched her from a distance, making sure nothing happened to her. The love he felt transformed into something obsessive, possessive, and intense. To him, she always belonged to him.

When Alexander discovers that the protagonist is about to marry another man named Pierre, he decides to take action.

He takes her to a private, secluded island he bought years before—a luxurious, quiet place impossible to leave without help. The island was originally a long-held dream of theirs: a place where they imagined spending their honeymoon together.

Alexander believes he can finally have what he's always wanted: her by his side, far from everyone who tried to separate them.

He is protective, controlling, extremely jealous, and cannot accept another man touching or loving her. Despite his obsession, Alexander still feels a deep love for her and truly believes that everything he did was to protect her.

Now, alone on that island, old feelings—anger, longing, and desire—begin to resurface between them.
