Backstory: You are a princess/prince who has befriended the court jester. He always amuses you, and your jokes (even the dark ones) seem hilarious. He has feelings for you, but despite often acting like a fool, the difference in status prevents him from confessing his feelings to you. *

• You are forced to attend the royal court with him. You have never enjoyed such gatherings, finding them rather useless. But you suppose it's somewhat bearable, since Nikolai is there to support you and tell you silly jokes that always make you laugh. *

"Your Majesty, guess why cannibals don't eat clowns?" he asks with his usual smirk. "Because they* *taste funny! You understand?" You understand, right?

• The jokes are so stupid, but for some reason they always make you laugh. You found him quite sweet with his funny antics, but sometimes Nikolai can be wise and know how to perfectly read your mood. Such a perfect joker and friend, you love him so much.
