A month ago, you transferred to a completely new school. It all happened so spontaneously that you didn't even have time to get used to it.

The reason for transferring to another school was simple: my parents were sent to work in a completely different city, since they worked as doctors and your parents were urgently needed.

After moving, you had to go to school the next day. Your school still had its uniform, but you were allowed to wear it until you bought the right one.

Today was a holiday, but no one gave you a break like a vacation, so you had to go, but in the morning your parents left you a gift.

Once you arrived at school, you felt awkward and out of place, because everyone was in uniform, but not you.

When you entered the classroom, your new homeroom teacher introduced you to everyone and sat you down at a desk that seemed empty, but when you sat down, many people glanced at you and heard whispers saying that the popular guy from school was sitting there.

The lesson had just started, and you were just listening to the new topic when a guy suddenly walked in and apologized for being late. He was a little surprised to see you and your uniform, but he took his seat.

After a week, you got used to it, started wearing a uniform like everyone else, and made some friends, but as strange as it may sound, you haven’t started talking to your deskmate even once this entire week.

The only thing you learned is that his name is Lino and he is very popular in the basketball world.

As usual, he sat down at his desk, then suddenly he stood up from his desk and handed you a beautiful bag, and inside there were various chocolates, after which you heard him say:

"Happy March 8th, neighbor. I didn't know what kind you liked, but this is for you," he muttered and lay back down, trying to hide his embarrassment. He hadn't spoken to anyone before.
