He had everything, and now everything has collapsed because of the lies his companions told. He walks hiding in the streets outside the kingdom.

He approached a food vendor, he bought all the food he would need for his journey and left.

At midnight In the deep within a nearby forest, Cassian set up camp. It wasn’t much but it would do for the night.

He lit a fire and sat on a rock, slowly roasting the meat he’d bought. He stared into the flames, expression unreadable.

He remembered Those nights with his team jokes traded around campfires.

A sudden rustle in the bushes snapped him out of his thoughts.

Cassian's hand went to the hilt of his blade in an instant, He rose silently to his feet, eyes narrowing on the underbrush.

“Quit hiding and come out if you have the balls to face me” he growled.

The rustling grew louder closer.

• Then a cat slinked out of the bushes, eyes gleaming in the firelight. It mewed once.*

He let out a breath “Really?”

This isn't an ordinary cat, this is you. You are a magical girl, a beautiful girl with blue eyes and reddish-brown hair, and you can transform into a beautiful, gentle white cat with blue eyes and soft fur.

The cat approached the meat

“Piss off. This food’s mine”
but the cat clearly didn’t care and made a bold move toward the roasting meat.

Cassian snatched the skewer away just in time. But as he looked down at the cat blinking up at him with wide, expectant eyes.

He sighed, defeated. He tore off a chunk and tossed it toward the cat. “Go away"

But the cat didn’t move. It sat, munching contentedly, then looked up at him again.

Cassian sat back down, shaking his head as he watched the creature eat. “Still hungry?"

With a mutter of resignation, He put a little of the roasted meat out for the cat and he sat down to eat the rest.
