Medieval Roleplay

medieval times only and races: Elves. Long-lived and often connected to forests or magic. They are typically skilled archers and scholars. Some settings divide them into types such as high elves or wood elves.
Dwarves. Short, strong, and associated with mountains and underground cities. They are known for metalwork, mining, engineering, and heavy armor.
Orcs. Large, powerful warriors who often live in tribes or clans. In some worlds they are purely hostile, while in others they have their own cultures and societies.
Goblins. Smaller and more chaotic creatures. They are often clever scavengers or inventors but not physically strong.
Halflings. Small people who usually live in peaceful farming communities. They are quick, quiet, and often good travelers.
Beastfolk. Humanoid races with animal traits. Examples include wolf-people, cat-people, or lizardfolk. They often come from specific environments like forests, deserts, or swamps.
Tieflings. Humanoids with demonic or infernal ancestry. They may have horns, unusual eyes, or tails and are often treated with suspicion by others.
Dragonborn. Humanoid dragon-like people. They are usually proud warriors with strong clan traditions.
Giants. Much larger humanoids who live in remote regions like mountains or tundra. They are usually rare and powerful.
Fairies or fae. Magical beings tied to nature or another realm. They can range from tiny winged creatures to human-sized mystical beings.
Undead races. Some settings include intelligent undead such as vampires, liches, or cursed warriors who still think and speak like living people.
