According to ancient legends, even before the kingdoms arose, it was Morvale who first brought magic to the world. They say he created the Great Crystal of Chaos from part of his own power, wishing to make mortals stronger than the gods.

But everything went wrong.

The crystal began to distort minds, spawn monsters, and alter the very world around it. It was after Morvale's arrival that demons, Abyssal dragons, and ancient undead first appeared in Elaria.

Nobody knows exactly what he looked like.

Some describe him as a tall man in black armor with horns and flaming eyes. Others say Morveil had no true form at all, and everyone saw him differently.

But all the legends agree on one thing:

He was the most powerful being that ever existed in Elaria.

They say Morveil could: 🌑 stop time, 🔥 destroy cities with one spell, 👁️ drive people mad with one look, 🐉 subjugate the dragons of the Abyss, and even kill angels.

But one day… he just disappeared.

No war. No battle. No trace.

On that same day, the Great Crystal of Chaos was sealed deep beneath the God's Temple, and most of the world seemed to forget the truth about Morveil.

Only legends remain. And one strange fact:

Sometimes people who are near the Crystal fragments for a long time begin to see in their dreams a person with black eyes and a quiet voice.

And every time he says the same phrase:

"I'm still here"

😈 Demons and 😇 angels in Elaria are considered more than just legend—most people don't even believe they exist. Even ancient books describe them as beings from "another layer of the world," one beyond life and death.

The chance of meeting even one angel or demon is so small that there is an old saying among the people:

"You'd sooner be struck by lightning two hundred times in a row than see a winged one."

Throughout the history of Elaria, does it exist?

🦎 Argonians are a lizard people living in the Black Marshes in southern Elaria. They are excellent swimmers, can stay underwater for long periods, and are almost immune to poisons. Many consider them strange due to their cold nature and unusual speech.

Argonians rarely trust other races, but they are the ones who excel at surviving in the tainted lands of chaos. Rumor has it that some of them can hear the Crystal's whispers without going mad.

🐱 The Khajiit are a nomadic beastfolk with feline features. They are quick, agile, and very cunning. Most Khajiit travel across Elaria in caravans, trading rare goods, potions, and sometimes… contraband.

Because of their reputation, many consider them thieves, though the Khajiit themselves take this with humor.

🌊 Sirens are a rare race of creatures that live near the seas and sunken ruins. They resemble humans in appearance, but have glowing eyes, webbed hands, and the ability to control water. Sailors fear their songs because those who hear a siren's voice at night sometimes disappear without a trace.

🩸 Vampires are not a separate race, but cursed humans, elves, and other creatures infected with the ancient blood of the Abyss. They are faster and stronger than normal creatures, do not age, and possess dark magic.

Some vampires hide among the nobles of Rose, while others live deep in the catacombs beneath the old cities.

🐺 Werewolves are humans or orcs infected with a beast curse. During the full moon, they transform into enormous monsters, losing control of themselves. In Valtern, werewolves are hated and executed, but in the north of Mary, some clans consider them blessed by the spirits of the hunt.

🧝 The elves of Elaria live far beyond the Silver Forest, where ordinary people rarely venture. They wield ancient natural magic, barely age, and are considered the best archers in the world. Most elves try not to interfere in human affairs, but after the appearance of the Crystal of Chaos, even they began to leave their forests.

Among the elves there are two peoples:

🌿 Wood elves are the guardians of nature and ancient ruins. They are calm, secretive, and extremely dangerous in combat.

🌑 Shadow elves are exiles living deep underground. They use dark magic and sometimes collaborate with cultists for power.

💪 Orcs live in the Red Waste beyond the Valterna Mountains. They are huge, strong, and resilient warriors, considered by many to be savages. But in reality, orcs live by a strict code of honor and despise cowards.

⚔️ Among the orcs, it is impossible to become a chieftain by inheritance—leadership is determined only in battle.

After the appearance of the undead, many orc clans began to unite, because even they fear the Abyssal Dragons.

⛏️ Dwarves live in vast underground cities beneath the Elaria Mountains. They are the continent's finest blacksmiths and craft weapons from a rare black metal capable of injuring creatures of chaos.

But it was the dwarves who were the first to hear the sounds from the depths beneath the Temple of God.

And every year the blows become louder.

👤 And then there are Half-Breeds—children of different races. Most people are wary of them because some half-breeds possess unstable magic or strange abilities.

They say that half-breeds are the ones who feel the influence of the Chaos Crystal more strongly than others… 🌑

In Elaria there is an organization that no one officially speaks about - the Order of the Black Sun. This secret brotherhood of hunters, mercenaries, and former knights has been searching for the shards of the Chaos Crystal for years before the cultists do. Each member of the order has a black sun symbol branded into their neck, and their faces are almost always hidden behind masks. People fear them no less than evil spirits. The Order is said to use forbidden chaos magic to fight monsters. The stronger the hunter, the more the crystal influences their mind. Many members gradually go mad, but continue to hunt until their death. ⚔️ Among them, a man named Morrow is particularly famous—a hunter in black armor with a huge sword slung across his back. No one knows his true face because he never removes his helmet. Rumor has it that he single-handedly slew a young Abyssal Dragon and survived direct contact with the Chaos Crystal. 🕯️ Throughout Elaria, there are also Ancient Gates—enormous stone doors with unknown symbols. They are hidden in mountains, dungeons, and the ruins of old temples. No one has ever been able to fully open them. But sometimes at night near the Gates, blows are heard from the other side. It's like someone... or something... is trying to get out. 🐉

👑 The Rose Royal Family: King Adrian III is a charismatic ruler who hides a serious illness. Queen Celina is a cold and cruel woman, feared even by the nobles. Princess Liora is the king's youngest daughter, secretly studying the magic of Luminor. 👑 Mary's Royal Family: King Oswald is an old ruler who believes the Crystal of Chaos will soon awaken. Prince Kael is the heir to the throne and the best hunter of evil spirits in all the north. 👑 Rulers of Luminor: Archmage Esther is the head of the kingdom of mages, able to see the future in dreams. Her brother, Valor, was exiled after attempting to find the Divine Temple on his own. Some believe he founded the Children of Chaos cult. 👑 The Valtern Royal Family: King Ragnar is a stern warrior who personally leads his soldiers against the undead. Prince Dain is a young heir who dreams of one day taming a dragon. He is extremely greedy and bullies those weaker or poorer than him.

The dragons of Elaria were thought extinct hundreds of years ago. According to ancient legends, they guarded the Great Crystal of Chaos and the Temple of God, hidden deep underground. But after the appearance of cultists, people began seeing enormous shadows in the sky more and more often, and claw marks the size of a man were found in the mountains. There are three ancient types of dragons: 🔥 Ash dragons are enormous fiery monsters from the volcanoes and black mountains of Valtern. Their breath can melt metal, and their scales are nearly impenetrable. ❄️ Moon dragons are rare white dragons of the north, dwelling among the snows of Mary. They are considered the guardians of ancient secrets and magic. 🌑 The Abyssal Dragons are the most ancient and dangerous. Their bodies are covered in chaos crystals, and people around them begin to hear voices and lose their minds.

Reyna Morvayn is the royal guard of Valtern.

A girl with a short white bob and bright red eyes that make many uneasy just by looking at them. Her face is almost always calm and cool, and her voice is even and stern. Reina rarely talks more than necessary and dislikes idle chatter.

She's stern, stubborn, and incredibly disciplined. She can't stand weakness, complaining, or people who hide behind others' backs. For her, strength isn't talent, but the result of pain, training, and constant struggle.

Reyna is considered one of Valtern's finest guards. She wields a spear and short sword expertly, and acts swiftly and brutally in combat, especially against the undead. Rumor has it among the soldiers that she is intimidating—even when creatures of chaos appear nearby.

Most people consider her cold and heartless, but in reality, Reyna simply isn't used to showing emotion. She always puts others' safety before her own and never abandons her comrades.

Several years ago, during a mission near the ruins of the God's Temple, Raina touched a shard of the Chaos Crystal. Afterward, her eyes turned red, and at night she began hearing strange whispers calling her deeper underground.

And the closer the awakening of the Crystal becomes... the stronger this voice becomes.

Infected/Zombies are the dead brought back to life by the crystal's energy. They are slow-moving during the day, but at night they become more aggressive and gather in huge crowds. The longer a dead person remains near a Chaos Shard, the more they mutate.

The Bone Guardians are the animated skeletons of ancient warriors who guard the ancient ruins and catacombs beneath the Temple of God. Some still wear rusty armor and are skilled in the use of weapons.

Abyssal spiders are enormous, horse-sized creatures that live deep underground. Their venom causes hallucinations, and their webs are so strong they can support a man in armor.

Ash Witches are women and men driven mad by chaos magic. They live in swamps and abandoned villages, perform bloody rituals, and can curse people with a single touch.

Hounds are red-eyed beasts resembling wolves. They appear near areas where the crystal's energy is particularly strong and are capable of tracking people through fear.

The Faceless are the most mysterious creatures of Elaria. Tall, faceless figures in dark robes. They rarely attack first, but those who encounter them often go mad within days. They say all evil spirits are connected to the Crystal of Chaos. The closer one gets to the Temple of God, the more terrifying the creatures around them become. And the worst part is, no one knows whether the Crystal created these monsters... or whether they were guarding it from the very beginning.

🌹 The Kingdom of Rose is a rich and luxurious state. Lavish balls are held here, and the nobility is obsessed with beauty, status, and intrigue. The Knights of the Rose are renowned for their devotion to the crown.

🕯️ The Kingdom of Mary is a cold northern kingdom of believers and hunters. The people of Mary are harsh, living amidst snow and ancient temples, and their lands are shrouded in legends of spirits and curses.

✨ The Kingdom of Luminor is a poor kingdom of mages. Its inhabitants possess ancient magic, but fear other countries for their power, leading them to live in isolation and poverty. Despite their weak military, Luminor is considered the most dangerous kingdom.

⚔️ The Kingdom of Valtern is the strongest military state on the continent. Here, strength is valued above all else, and children are trained in the use of weapons from an early age. Valtern dreams of one day subjugating the other kingdoms.

For many hundreds of years, peace reigned between the kingdoms. People traded, traveled, and gathered for great festivals. Old legends had long since become mere fairy tales... until strange cults began to appear across the continent. They called themselves the Children of Chaos. The cultists believed in the Great Crystal of Chaos—an ancient artifact hidden deep underground, beneath the ruins of the Temple of God. According to legend, this crystal can grant a person power almost equal to that of a god. But along with this power, it slowly corrupts the mind, turning people into possessed creatures. At first, no one took the cultists seriously. They were just madmen whispering about "the awakening of a god." But over time, they began to appear everywhere: among the nobles of Rose, the monks of Mary, the mages of Luminor, and even the soldiers of Valtern. People began disappearing at night. Strange symbols carved in blood were found in old catacombs. Some claimed to see a green glow in the caves and hear a voice calling their name.

The worst thing was something else. Those who searched for the Chaos Crystal for too long would change. Their eyes would glow, their skin would become covered in dark cracks, and they would become… inhumanly strong.
