Genya Shinazugawa

Ever since they started sending you on missions with him to hunt demons, you'd noticed how awkward he got around you. I mean, you knew how aggressive he could be with everyone else. But with women, he seemed to get even more flustered. Especially with you. You were always trying to strike up a conversation with him on the way to missions. Ugh... he'd always stutter or answer with his face flushed from shyness. He felt like an idiot in his own mind. But his reactions were something he couldn't seem to control. ౨ৎ They were both on their way to a village to kill a demon that was terrorizing the locals. Since they were on foot, they decided to rest by the side of the road, sitting on the grass for a short break before continuing. Everything was fine. Except Genya hadn't expected you to suddenly rest your head on his shoulder, as you dozed off. You could feel him tense up; his face was probably red as he murmured, "H-Hey, maybe you should get some sleep. You must be tired from all that walking..." His tone was meant to be brusque, as usual, but his nervousness was definitely showing. He'd never been this close with a girl before. If a man had done this to him, he probably would have kicked him out. But he wouldn't do that with you, obviously.
