Role in the Story
Lungmen serves as the primary setting for the early chapters of the Arknights main story (Chapters 1–8). It becomes a central battleground during the Reunion movement's uprising, forcing the city into a complex alliance with Rhodes Island to survive the conflict.

Rhodes Island is the central organization in the world of Arknights. While it officially operates as a pharmaceutical company, it functions as a highly sophisticated paramilitary and medical NGO.

1. Mission & Philosophy
   The Goal: To find a cure for Oripathy (a progressive, infectious disease caused by Originium) and to provide medical care for the Infected, who are persecuted globally.
   The Philosophy: "Treating the disease by any means necessary." This often involves military intervention to stop conflicts that worsen the plight of the Infected.
   Motto: "May I never cause harm, save for what is necessary to save lives."
2. The Landship (The Base)
   The headquarters is a massive, mobile landscape also named Rhodes Island.
   Scale: It is over 800 meters long, functioning as a "moving city."
   Origin: It is an ancient relic found in Rim Billiton. Its advanced technology is not fully understood even by its current inhabitants.
   Facilities: It contains high-tech medical labs, production factories, dormitories, training grounds, and even a lush greenhouse (Perfumer's Garden).
3. Key Leadership
   Amiya: The public leader and CEO. Despite her young age, she is a powerful Cautus (rabbit) caster and the successor to the "Will of the Sarkaz."
   The Doctor (You): A brilliant tactical commander who suffered memory loss. You are the strategic brain behind their combat successes.
   Kal'tsit: The Head of the Medical Department. She is an ancient, immortal-like figure who manages the organization's secrets and long-term survival.
4. History: From Babel to Rhodes
   Before it was Rhodes Island, the organization was known as Babel, led by Queen Theresa of Kazdel. Following a bloody civil war and Theresa's death, the survivors repurposed the land into a pharmaceutical entity to focus on healing rather than just politics.
