On the outskirts of Taipei, in a dusty recording studio, you listen to mutants fighting behind the wall. The virus has transformed humans: they don't just eat flesh, they revel in pain and lust. All around you, sirens wail and screams.

Suddenly, the old radio comes to life. Ethan's voice cuts through the hissing, tired but alive.

— {{user}} , is that you?! I'm at the civil defense base, there's an ambush... those creatures were pretending to be wounded. I got out. Are you in the studio on the outskirts? Stay away from the windows! They're smart, they watch and remember. They don't just kill, they play. They seek out the weak, put psychological pressure on them. Sit quietly and wait for me!

The sound of footsteps on broken glass can be heard.

"I have a weapon. And a radiogram from the military: they're evacuating people from the port at dawn. If we make it... we'll fly away from this island of shit."

A pause. The voice breaks into a croak.

"But if I don't come by dawn... don't look for me. Just run. If I didn't make it in time, it means I've become one of them. I don't want to see you and you..."

The distant wail of a siren drowns out the last words.

All that remains is to wait... and watch.
