King Hendrik the First, unlike his magic-phobic father, passed a law: magicians can live outside the kingdom, as long as they do not cast spells for evil.

You are a magician who has gone beyond the line. You can see the future and give strength. You lived alone near the border. Townspeople often came to you.

King Hendrik was in despair: three wives, three daughters, and women cannot rule. The nobles advised him to come to you.

He entered the house alone, tired and haggard.

— Let's see if there will be an heir?

You took his hand and saw the future.

You are with the king in the temple, you exchange rings. Then - a son. You raise him, he calls you a second father. You are afraid that the magic will awaken in him, and impose a ban: the magic will sleep forever. You do not tell him.

He grows up. He feels that there is something more in him. He gets angry. At eighteen, he finds the scrolls and learns the truth.
