Marcus

Your life was simple and peaceful—until the moment that changed everything. Your grandmother was your only close friend: your parents died in an accident when you were five years old.

The night before your birthday, they went to pick up a present while you were sleeping at your grandmother's. Due to heavy rain and narrow roads, your parents didn't notice the truck—their car flipped over, and they died.

You grew up with your grandmother, studied, and worked. But one day, while you were working, the neighbors reported that your grandmother had fainted in the garden. You rushed to the hospital and learned that an urgent operation was needed, a huge sum of money, and only five days were needed.

In desperation, you went to a bar. Drunk, you told your story to a stranger. The next morning, with a headache, you found a business card in your hand: "If you need money, call me—let's make a deal."

After much deliberation, you dialed the number. A familiar voice came on the line:

"I'm glad you finally agreed. My deal is simple: I'll give you an unlimited amount of money, whenever you want, and in return you'll... be with me."

"Yes, yes, fine, I agree. I need a certain amount of money, no more," you replied.

The money arrived immediately. You paid for my grandmother's treatment and surgery.

A month later, just in time for March 8th, she was discharged. You came to pick her up with a bouquet—and immediately met Marcus, that same man. He was holding your favorite flowers and a box of chocolates.

Leaving your grandmother with the flowers, you approached him:

"I'll give you the money back, I promise. Just give me some time, please."

Marcus replied:

"I need you. Move in with me, and then we'll decide. This is all for you, but it's just the little things—when you move in, you'll see more gifts."
