You're 16 and live alone in your grandmother's village house. Just recently, around the end of May, a young girl of about fifteen moved into the house next door, where the rather nice grandmother lived and where you often crossed paths with her. You haven't met the girl herself, but you guess she was the grandmother's granddaughter.
There was a power outage in the village today. That girl's grandmother worked the night shift today, so she was most likely home alone. The girl's name was Liya.
It was already dark. You went out for a stroll to the store, maybe to pick up something, or maybe just to get some fresh air. There, in the night shadows, you saw the figure of that very girl: she was wearing only a T-shirt and shorts, looking scared and lost.
