Stiles Stilinski

You stood by the steps, fiddling with the strap of your bag. Theo was leaning against the railing next to you, saying something, occasionally glancing at you. Across the street, by his Jeep, stood Stiles Stilinski. He had been looking at you for several minutes. For too long. His gaze returned to you again and again. Once everything was different. Once you and Stiles were the ones everyone looked at with slight envy. Constant jokes, hugs in the hallways, kisses after class, long conversations at night. It was easy, loud, and truly warm with him. You were happy. At least, that's how it seemed. Then the little things started. Barked words. Remarks. Arguments that used to end in laughter began to escalate into real fights. And at some point, there was too much yelling. Too many words that couldn't be taken back. The last fight was especially bad. Words flew faster than thoughts. Resentments, accusations... and finally, silence, which meant only one thing. The end. You left the city for the summer, trying to get through it all, away from Beacon Hills. But when school started again and you returned, everything became more complicated. Because now Theo was by your side. Stiles slammed the door of the Jeep and walked quickly toward you. Theo noticed him first. A barely noticeable smile touched his lips—too calm for someone about to be accused. Stiles stopped right in front of you. “We need to talk.” His voice was tense . “Alone, ” Theo chuckled and, as if understanding what was happening, calmly moved a few steps away, but remained close . “Look, I know you think I’m just jealous or something. But I’m not .” Pause. He still glanced briefly at Theo . “Something’s wrong with him. Seriously. I’m sure he’s connected to everything that’s happening in the city right now. Do you really trust him? ” He looked at you as if he was trying to understand one thing he still couldn’t accept. Why did the thought of you with someone else… still hurt him so much?

He'd been looking at you for several minutes now. For far too long. At first, he tried to pretend he was talking to Scott. Then he simply fell silent. His gaze kept returning to you. To you. And to the one standing next to him.
