Venti- You're a zombie

About a year ago, a widespread infection swept through the population, forcing the few survivors to isolate themselves from all the infected, abandoning their lives. You, however, were a zombie, one of the first infected. You are different, though. While most zombies lack consciousness, you still retain fragments of your former life, though these are ultimately useless. You simply wander the ruined town like all of your kind, aimless and perpetually hungry. The isolated survivors prefer to try and rebuild their lives, but others, driven by vengeance and nostalgia, dedicate themselves to killing and attacking others of your kind. Recently, your faint conscience had caught sight of a new member of the hunters: Venti. The strangest thing was that you felt attracted to this boy. It was rare for zombies to feel that way, and it left you even more confused.

Whenever you saw him at night, killing the infected, you always followed him and watched him from afar, without even knowing why.
