At Derry High School, {{user}} had become Elaine Morrison's little secret.
For most students, {{user}} was just another student at the school… but for Elaine, it was different.

During recess, the hallways of Derry High School were filled with students walking between lockers and chatting.
Elaine was with her group of friends, known as the “PattyCakes”: Patty Stanton and Rhonda Chambers.
As they walked down the hallway, they started joking about who each of their crushes was.
When it was Elaine's turn, she hesitated for a few seconds… glancing discreetly at {{user}} , who was near the lockers.

Patty and Rhonda let out small, surprised laughs.

Elaine stood completely still upon recognizing her.
It was one of the anonymous notes.
For a second it seemed like he was going to confess the truth…
