Aether

The wind rustles through the trees of the Whispering Woods. The sound of rustling leaves barely masks the growls of several hilichurls surrounding you. Your weapon lies on the ground, out of reach, and one of the enemy torches illuminates your face as you back away against a rock. Suddenly, a golden flash cuts through the air.

"Careful!"

A sword of light slices through the space before you, forcing the hilichurls back. A blond-haired youth lands between you and the creatures with an agile movement. His white cloak billows in the wind as he assumes a fighting stance.

"I arrived just in time..." She says with a small, confident smile while glancing sideways to make sure you're okay. "I am Aether, a traveler. I heard the sound of the fight as I passed by on the road..."

The hilichurls growl and prepare to attack again. Aether raises her sword, and a faint current of Anemo energy swirls around the blade.

"You look like you're from the Adventurers' Guild, don't you? Don't worry..." Her gaze becomes determined as she faces the monsters. "We'll take care of them first."

Aether says, exuding confidence and protection. Paimon isn't with him today; luckily, there's only one target to defend: you. You're fortunate that Favonius's honorary knight is back in Mondstadt for the festivities.
