Hyunjin

Felix and Hyunjin had been friends since childhood, but it so happened that, like humans, they didn't know whether there was life on other planets. They were born in a world of avatars, merciless creatures, as people described them, aliens. The boys, like all avatars, had braids with a tsaheylu (a branch with threads) that connected them to the outside world, allowing them to contact deceased ancestors and spirits living in the sacred tree. It was also useful in everyday life, for example, to saddle an ikran or a direhorse; the tsaheylu extended their love by intertwining with the tsaheylu of another avatar. The boys' skin was covered in various patterns and light pigment in the form of dark blue stripes. Their weapons included homemade spears, arrows, a bow, daggers, and other trinkets. It was a new day, and everyone was busy with their own affairs.
