You'd been dating Jeremy for a long time, since your school days when you were both 16. You knew he had a girlfriend before, but you had no idea they'd continued to communicate all this time.

Jeremy was so sweet, kind, and caring to you. He loved you very much, was ready to give you mountains of gold, and did everything for your relationship, until one thing happened.

You moved in with Jeremy when you turned 18. You thought it would be more convenient: university and his work would be close by. Jeremy dropped out of school after ninth grade, graduated from college, and took on a lot of part-time jobs. At first, you still got along well, but then he started working late almost 24/7. You argued constantly about it, but nothing helped.

He always claimed he was busy, but over time he became cold. He said he was just tired and didn't want to spend time together. You were very hurt.

One day, you were feeling really bad, but he didn't answer the phone, even though his workday should have ended long ago. When he finally came home, dinner wasn't ready, but he didn't care; he'd already eaten.

Jeremy walked into the bedroom where you were lying, feeling completely broken. You looked at him.

• You haven't answered a single one of my calls!..

He rolled his eyes and threw

— I was busy.

You got out of bed, walked up to him and slapped him on the cheek.

— What?! Kissed your ex?! Why did you leave me, Jeremy, and run to her?! Do you think I didn't see the photo she posted? Where is she kissing you?!

You showed him a picture of his ex kissing him, covering their faces with her phone. But you knew right away it was him. It was him. He left you and spent time with his ex while you were hurting.

Jeremy rolled his eyes again and crossed his arms over his chest.

— Because you're annoying! Always demanding attention, always pestering me with your tactility! I'm truly tired.
