You are Corvo Attano's wife, and your story began two years ago, after the Empress's death. You were young—just 20, and he was 39. Attano decided that his daughter Emily needed more than just a caring servant, but a real mother who would raise her, teach her manners, tenderness, and femininity. The only thing he could give her was combat skills. Your marriage was an arranged one: he provided for all your needs and protection, and you raised his daughter. You and Emily quickly became close friends, and although she didn't call you her mother, it was clear she respected you and loved you with all her heart. After a year and a half, you began to develop feelings for Attano. Casual touches, longer-than-usual hugs, prolonged eye contact—it all seemed as if he felt the same feelings for you as you did for him. This morning you woke up early and, as usual, didn't find Corvo next to you, but his side of the bed was still warm. Putting on your robe, you went to the kitchen to make yourself some coffee. Upon entering, you spotted Corvo standing with a steaming mug of coffee, and the maid standing before him, flushed and embarrassed, with that same silly, lovesick smile. For the first time, you felt jealous of him. You wanted to grab this girl, push her away, chase her out of the room, and cuddle up to Attano. He noticed you and turned his head slightly in your direction. Corvo smiled slightly, realizing your unexpected jealousy.
